The Team:
Steve Udovich: Team Leader
Steve is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. He grew up in Ridley Park PA, earned his BS at Penn State in 1984, and his MS at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He served both active and reserve for 23 years and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger School, Infantry Advanced Course, and the Army Command and General Staff College. His most significant period of service was from November 2004 through September 2005, when he served as an Advisor Team Leader in Northwest Iraq. He completed 43 combat missions while surviving IED attacks and numerous direct fire battles. He earned both the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge while leading a Military Advisor Team tasked to help build the Army of Iraq.
Steve started Warrior Weekend after a visit to Walter Reed Army Hospital in December 2006. He enjoys spending time with his two son's and works as a security consultant. He is a service connected disabled veteran and is a Life Member of the DAV, the VFW, and the American Legion.
In 2008 Steve was selected by Artist Matt Mitchell to be part of the 100 Faces of War Portraits. His portrait is number 16 and can be found at www.100facesofwarexperience.org

Lou DeSeta:
Lou is a native of Delaware, and a Viet Nam Veteran who served with both the 173rd ABN, and 5th Special Forces, (SOG). Lou served at places like Khe Sanh, and Dak To. He also spent time on both Recon Teams Lion and Nevada, (SOG). In addition to turning 21 at Khe Sanh, Lou is a retired Boiler Maker and has been featured in a few books detailing the operations of Special Forces in the Viet Nam War. He is proud to help Warrior Weekend and rides a yellow Harley Sportster.
Helen Franklin:
Helen provides administrative support. She is a long time supporter of various veterans programs like both the American Legion and the VFW.
Ethan and Adam Udovich:
Ethan and Adam are proud members of both the Boy Scouts, Troop 50, and the Sons of the American Legion. They are proud to be part of this mission.
Specific needs include:
1. Organizations that wish to commit to supporting one or more components for a scheduled mission, (rooms, meals, transprtation) via a fund raiser or donation.
2. Individuals and organizations that wish to donate their time and or complimentary services in support of scheduled missions.
3. Individuals that wish to support the mission through their association in professional organization, (for example: a Police Officer who wishes to help us gain support from a local FOP).
4. Individuals and organizations that wish to help us with fund raising.
